Visitors Stand

Stop by our visitors stand, just outside the worship center, to learn more about the congregation and pick up a name tag

If you’re visiting with children

Our Religious Exploration programs for children and youth are active during Sunday worship. You and your school-age children are invited to the inter-generational beginning of the services in the Worship Center and after the story for all ages children are escorted to their classrooms. Visit the RE table next to the Visitors Stand.

Wee Worship is an area of our Worship Center specifically for families with children who may need to move about or be occupied during the service, there is space to spread out and quiet activities to keep little hands happy. There is also a separate Wiggle Room with windows into the Worship Center if children need a place they can be more active or talkative.

After the service

“Getting to Know UU” sessions are held after every Sunday service in Slowter Lounge, in the back of the Worship center. These give visitors an opportunity to ask questions and get to know members in a quieter setting than the coffee hour in Fellowship Hall.

Also after Sunday worship services, you are welcome to join church members and other visitors in Fellowship Hall, directly through the front gallery, for refreshments and conversation. There, you may also browse in our bookstore or visit our social justice tables. Questions are always welcome.

If you are interested in the next steps to become a member of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus you are cordially invited to register and participate in the next Path to Membership class. It is designed for newcomers and is always recommended before deciding to become a Church member. Your participation in the class does not obligate you to join our church.

6. Pledge and make a financial contribution that is meaningful to you
