Camping Friday, June 21st – Sunday, June 23rd at Delaware State Park. Communal food , swimming, campfires. Join fellow UUs getting back to nature for the weekend. Great for families, singles or couples.

Tents and air mattresses available to borrow.  Shared campsite spaces are $40 for two nights (Friday/Saturday). Sites have electric so you can bring appliances to cook.  Sign up Patriciaboughton@gmail

Most people arrive sometime Friday late afternoon or evening. We set up tents, the children enjoy biking or using a scooter around the cul-de-sac. Then we enjoy s’mores, conversation, and music around the campfire. Saturday is a delicious breakfast of pancakes and other communal breakfast items. Then some leisurely exploring around the trails, games, and relaxing. After lunch, many drive to the beach and enjoy a swim and water play. Dinner and another campfire rounds out the evening.

Attached is a generic camping checklist to give you an idea of items. But if you forget something, someone else will usually have it!  If you haven’t camped before, this is a great group to get your feet wet and learn!
