When choosing when to sign up for OWL: take into account your child's physical & emotional maturity, in addition to the age guidelines. We welcome our SYC, ROCS, and Central Ohio community to join us; however, class sizes are limited and priority is given to First UU members and volunteers. Each OWL class will have a parent/caregiver orientation, it is mandatory that all custodial parents/guardians attend that orientation for the child to participate in the class. *6-7yr and 10-11yr participants should also register for a regular Sunday School class as those OWL classes are only several week sessions.

Age groupings may be tweaked based on enrollment. 6-7yr and 10-11yr OWL do not meet the entire year, so please remember to sign up for drop-in class as well. *Coming of Age is a commitment based class where the cohort closes after a few sessions, and is taken only once. There is no HS drop-in this year due to lack of volunteers. During the 11am service high schoolers have these options: attend the MS class if interested and actively participating, attend service, volunteer with a younger class, play board games and cards in A/B and Beach Hall, or do paid work on the tech or sitter teams (age 14+).
