SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2: Rev. Eric Meter will present “Safety Is Not Enough.” Safety, though a human need, is never enough. In fact, alone, it becomes a trap. It needs to be balanced by a willingness to be brave.

First UU Auction: Sunday, January 26, is the deadline for all items to be included in the auction catalog! In order for our First UU auction to be a success and raise the $30,000 expected of us, we need 150 more items. That is, we need everyone to donate a fellowship activity, a dinner, a service, an excursion, a vacation lodging, tickets to the theater or sporting event, a food item or two, a gift certificate or two, etc. Please enter your items online by visiting www.firstuucolumbus.org/auction or come to the auction table in Beach Hall this Sunday to fill out a paper form. Can’t think about what to donate? Come see us at the auction table after the service and we will help you. At the table you can also sign up for childcare, to bring an appetizer, and to volunteer. The auction will be Saturday, February 22, from 5-9:30 pm.

Sunday morning coffee service is in danger of being canceled for 2020! This is not something we want to do, but we have a small number of volunteers doing double and triple duty to bring coffee service each week. Come join our volunteer team and help us bring coffee to family, friends, and members each Sunday. We ask volunteers for one service, one Sunday a month.
