Hopper Hunts for Spring Read Aloud

Hello First UU families! Our last week of March gave us quite a cold one on Sunday! But, Spring is upon us and all that goes with it. The theme of April is “Awakening.” Which speaks to awakening to wonder and beauty around us, being present, awareness of the interconnected web. Many were not able to be with us this past week. So, Jenifer has created a short video of a story: Hopper Hunts for Spring by Marcus Pfister. Some conversation “wondering” questions at the end include:

  • I wonder what Spring is? Where does it live?
  • What does Spring look like? Smell like? Sound like? Taste like?
  • I wonder what signs of Spring are you noticing around you?
  • I wonder what you look forward to doing as the weather warms?
