This Week
Sunday Service October 15

“Collaborative Leadership”

Is leadership a noun or a verb? We think of certain people as ‘natural’ leaders, but that concept can get in the way of giving everyone a chance to provide leadership in certain situations.

This will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15 and will be similar to a Summer Pick-Up Choir experience: youth should show up at 9:00 am to the Worship Center and will learn on the spot a song to sing during the 10 am service. Come be a part of this inaugural event!

Conflict Transformation w/ Rev. Terasa
October 14, 10am – 2pm

While many people find conflict challenging or even fearful, there is a way in which conflict can actually help us grow and learn together, when we have the tools for self-reflection as well as for healthy interactions.

This workshop is a hybrid gathering which will give you an opportunity to process the concepts individually as well as in small groups. The Healthy Relations Team will also be there to talk about their work with the congregation in the coming year.

Lunch will be available for a $10 fee if you are joining in person. Register on our Adult RE page or contact Rev. Dr. Terasa Cooley for more information.

A message from Rev Kelli
Happy Friday!
Boy have I missed you! I wanted to send you all a quick message to update you on my time away and when I will be returning. I will be back in the office on Tuesday, November 7th. Thank you to everyone who has been filling in for me so that I could take this time away to really heal. I can’t wait to see you all in November!

Little help?

I’m Becca Morse, your new Office Manager, and I have really enjoyed getting to know some of you over the last couple of months. As I have settled in, I’ve noticed that I could really use a bit of help sometimes!

If you are interested in coming in occasionally for 1 to 2 hours to help with light office work, like assembling packets for classes, doing light data entry, or putting nametags together, please email me  to be added to a “Helpers list” for those times I need help.

Many thanks to Karen Keenan, Olwen Firestone, and Debbie Shaw for providing regular assistance with the Sunday Orders of Worship.  Their proofreading skills are top notch and their assistance has been invaluable!
