In Sickness and in Health
We tend to see sickeness and health as opposites, but I think they are two ends of a long and complicated spectrum. What does that mean for us?
Question box Sermon
This is an opportunity for you to ask whatever questions you may have for me. Curious about UUism? This church? Life in general? Ask away! We will take questions from the audience in person and from online viewers.

Come Play With Us!
With the help of a grant, the School for Young Children has been able to substantially renovate their playground! This Sunday we will celebrate its grand opening, dedicating it to the spirit which imbues all of SYC: "Learning Through Play." Come join us as we engage in a variety of playful practices that help us learn - no matter our age!

"Breathing Fire" (Juneteenth Service)
Peace does not mean keeping silent in the face of injustice and oppression, and sometimes a message may be like "fire in our bones", setting us ablaze until all we can do is let it out. Sometimes all it takes is one person speaking up and saying, "that's enough!" for something new and revolutionary to happen.

Whose Am I?
Together we will ponder the words of Douglas Steere, a quaker teacher who pondered the connection between our identity and our relationships.
Why Do Stories Survive?
"Some stories comfort us. Others challenge us. Still others carry both wisdom and wounds. A single story can bring hope to one person and anguish to another. In this service, Luke Rouker reflects on curiosity, testimony, and why human communities continue to preserve even the most complicated stories as a way of searching for meaning together."

Let Them
Mel Robbins has recently published a best-selling book called "Let Them" which promotes the idea that we can't necessarily control other people or their thoughts. A good concept! And yet we do need to be aware of our effect upon others. How do we find a balance?
