Last Week for Voter Registration!

Midterm elections this November will affect every justice issue we care about, from abortion rights to global warming to whether teachers can speak truthfully about race, sexual orientation, and gender. Let’s get active to make sure every person’s voice is heard this November. The Voter Registration Deadline is October 11!

What we can do together, starting NOW:

1. Check your voter registration: Make sure you haven’t been purged from the voter rolls and that your address is up-to-date: Register to vote or update your address online by October 11 for the November 8 general election:

2. Train to register voters:  Watch this training recording to be sure you are up-to-date: League of Women Voters of Metro Columbus – YouTube

3. Register people to vote: Sign up page for voter outreach. We will be at a different library every day this week.

4. Fill out mail-in ballot form: Fill out the forms at the JAM table on Sunday and we will take them to Franklin County Board of Elections for you. This frees you up on election day to volunteer, or just know your vote is already in!

This fall, we will also have opportunities to Get Out The Vote, and to fight against anti-abortion, anti-protest, and anti-education bills during the Ohio Statehouse’s Lame Duck Session! Email to get on the Democracy and Human Rights email list and stay in touch.
