Bring FLOWERS!
This Sunday is Flower Communion. Bring a few flowers from your garden or the market. We’ll put them into common vases. They will be a part of our celebration.

CHILD DEDICATION on Mother’s Day – Let us know by THIS THURSDAY at Noon
If you have a child(ren), for infants through grade-schoolers, that you would like to participate,
please see Rev. Marian, or Rev. Eric by THIS THURSDAY at noon.

GRATITUDE
Thank you to all who attended B.R.E.A.D.’s annual Nehemiah Action on Monday evening. It was so good to see all those yellow LOVE shirts right up front supporting justice in our community. Special thanks to the leaders, organizers, speakers, and supporters.

REMINDER – PLEDGE FORMS
We’re at the point we have to start reading minds. And, we’re not very good at that. If you want us to develop an honest budget, we need your pledge forms. This congregation has a history of low turn-in rates for pledge forms and each year we spend a lot of our staff and volunteer time guessing what you might be thinking. Save us the angst. Help us work with real numbers. Please turn in your form. Thank you. And huge gratitude for helping us nurture our children and ourselves in body, mind, and spirit; be creative in art, music, and worship; while we work to change the world. We do this together.

THIS WEEK

Community Conversation: RE (Religious Exploration)
***Pizza and childcare provided***
The Board and ministers invite you to join us for a Community Conversation to gather your ideas and input on how we can best serve our children, youth, and families in the coming year(s). Here’s your opportunity to help First UU RE-imagine, RE-engage, and RE-commit to RE. We have some things that work very well (OWL, COA, SYC, Neighboring Faiths, etc.) and we have some great volunteers and teachers (although not enough). Using these as a foundation, we’d like to look at the structure we have in place, or would like to have in place, to best serve our children, families, and members into the future. All are welcome. Pizza and childcare provided.
