- Visit the Cookie Fair tables to mix-and-match to fulfill all of your holiday needs. Proceeds support the Holiday Appeal.
- Coming of Age (CoA) Project Fundraiser: Money raised will be used to fill food boxes to be given to Columbus families who live in a food desert. Each food box costs $20.
- Bookstore and Fair Trade: Complete your holiday shopping with books and environmentally friendly items, including coffee.
- The Caring Team will have holiday cards for everyone to sign. Each year, we send holiday greetings to our present and retired ministers, our staff, and members and friends who have moved away during the past year.

Feed My Sheep food pantry We are collecting for a Christmas ham drive, and asking for toys (under $10 each) for children, unwrapped. Please bring these on Sunday mornings, by December 22. Lists of children to sponsor for Christmas are ready to pick up. Also, because of your generous Thanksgiving donations, we were able to provide turkey and fixings to 166 food insecure families. UU Art Enjoy the Art Quilt Alliance display “Breaking with Tradition: Altered Quilt Blocks and Mandalas,” through December 29 in the Sanctuary and Lobby. First UU quilters are Marty Cicchinelli, Nancy McDonald, Laurel Richardson, and Deb Baillieul.
Long Strange Trip: Our UU History, Parts IV, V and VI Wednesdays, January 8, 15, and 22, 7:30pm, Room A/B. Led by Dana Reynolds, retired UU minister. This is a great way to learn about our UU development throughout the centuries. It’s ideal for those new to UUism, but promises new surprises for longtime UUs. Dana Reynolds
First UU Auction: Come Fly with Me! Saturday, February 22. On January 5 and February 9, we will have Auction 101 sessions during Middle Hour to share auction information and answer questions. To really take off, we’ll need many donations to zoom in and take the bidding sky high! The auction website is http://togetherauction.com/firstuu and you can enter items any time. We need household items (kitchen decor, small appliances, baskets, lamps), jewelry and accessories, working toys/games/puzzles, garden, travel, and camping items. More information will follow.
Dinner & Conversation Sign up now for the first quarter (January, February, March). This is an easy way to get to know other UUs. Once a month, groups of about eight meet for a potluck dinner and conversation. The same groups meet during each month of the quarter. Signing up means you’ll attend the three dinners. - December 24 at 5pm – Christmas Eve Family Celebration. Join Rev. Eric Meter and Amber Scott for a family centered celebration of Christmas.
- December 24 at 8pm – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, with Rev. Dr. Marian Stewart and Rev. Eric Meter. A beautiful service centered on the 300th anniversary of the song “Joy to the World.” All are welcome. Hot cider follows the candlelight service.
