Purpose
The Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice brings the moral power of religious communities to bear to ensure reproductive choice through education and advocacy. The Coalition seeks to give clear voice to the reproductive issues of people of color, those living in poverty, and other under-served populations, and affirms women as moral decision-makers.

Scope
Ohio RCRC is a state affiliate of the national religious coalition. A national conference provides opportunities for education and networking by directors, representatives, and youth from the 25 affiliates. Trained volunteers support All Options Clergy Counseling, data input, newsletter, fundraising, website, and grant writing. Clergy for Choice are clergy who join a network. All Options Clergy Counseling provides a telephone hotline for spiritual consultation, miscarriage, and post-abortion counseling. The Black Church Initiative consists of clergy and laypersons who have organized faith-based dialogues regarding reproduction for youth and their guardians. Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom (SYRF) operate at Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University to advocate for reproductive choice.

Justification for support
The work of the Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice promotes the purpose of the church and it upholds five of its seven principles - We affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person; justice, equity, and compassion in human relations; acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth; a free and responsible search for truth and meaning; the right to conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.

Grants and individual donations $57,500; Program fees/proceeds $1,300
