WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price is a documentary that shows how the company's low prices come at a high cost to their low-wage workforce. More info about the movie at www.walmartmovie.com. The theatrical release will be November 4, 2005, followed by Premiere Week, November 13-19, 2005, when the movie will be shown at over 3,000 screenings by churches, small businesses, teachers, and others. Wal-Town is a movie that came out of the Wal-Town Project. In 2004, a group of 6 Canadian activists travelled across Canada and visited small towns where Wal-Mart had an impact. More info at www.wal-town.com.
