ADULT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (formerly known as "Adult Religious Growth and Education" or "Adult RG&E") is one aspect of First UU Church's commitment to life span education. As such, it provides connections within our church community, and nurtures members and friends in their spiritual, personal, and intellectual growth. It offers exploration of a variety of religious traditions. We strive to offer changing programs that meet diverse interests and needs. All church members, friends and especially newcomers are welcome at our courses.

REGISTRATION for courses will take place on Sundays in Fellowship Hall after both services. More information on each class is available at the AEP table in Fellowship Hall.

In most cases, registration will be accepted anytime until the first class meeting. If you plan to attend a class, please register. Classes with low registration numbers are cancelled.

DONATION The AEP committee is largely self-supporting. Our expenses are met by donations collected from our classes. These donations help to cover the publication of this brochure, our fair share of property use, the purchase of new curricula, supplies, and other committee expenses. Volunteers lead all of the courses offered. None of them receive any (monetary) payment for leading classes.

A suggested donation is listed for each course. These "fees" are waived upon request and for all AEP teachers and for all RG&E teachers. Please make your check payable to "First UU Church" with the annotation of "Adult Programs".

ROOM ASSIGNMENT Given that construction is ongoing, we are not assigning rooms for classes. Check the kiosk in the Gallery for room assignments on the day of your class.

CHANGES Sometimes a class is canceled or the time or date is changed at the request of the instructor. People who are registered for a class will be notified of any changes. Changes in the schedule will be printed in our newsletter, The Discoverer. If you didn't register before the first class then call the church office to see if there have been any changes.

CHILD CARE We will provide child care when requested. If you will need child care to attend a course, be sure to indicate the number of children and their ages when you register. In the event that we are unable to offer child care for your course, we will let you know.

PLEASE NOTE: Should your plans change such that you cannot attend a class for which you've registered and you've requested child care, please call the Church Office (267-4946) as early as possible, so we can cancel the child care and thus save that expense for the Church.
